Development Plan Division

Introduction / Project Coordination Unit:

In accordance with Development’s Reorganization in 2008, the Project Coordination Office was renamed the Project Coordination Unit, under the supervision of the Deputy Director-General (Planning) and responsible for the coordination and monitoring of physical and financial development projects. The Unit has a total of 18 officers.
 
Objective:
Provide a progress report on implementation programs and budget for Malaysia’s Five-Year Plans two years before the end of the current plan;
Prepare report of biennial development budgets four months before delivery to the Ministry;
Provide physical and financial progress project reports via SPPII, weekly reports to the Ministry and Department, and monthly reports to Federal agencies;
Organize coordination meetings while monitoring development projects twice a year for each project office/division.
 
Function of Project Coordination Unit:
To coordinate and monitor the physical and financial progress of development projects through:
Project Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee meetings;
Project monitoring system (SPPII);
Development Allocation and Expenditure (P43).
 
Client Charter:
To ensure the preparation of development plans are in line with the program and cost through effective coordination and monitoring. We promise to:
